Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and build features end-to-end, from user interviews/product design through architecture, deployment, and production monitoring.
  • •Partner with the product team to discover user problems and help shape what to build.
  • •Write maintainable code across frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend (Ruby on Rails).
  • •Ensure services are always on by building resilient applications, monitoring, and responding to incidents as an on-call/incident responder.
  • •Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering practices and excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software engineering experience (ideally full-stack) with a strong product ownership mindset.
  • •Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, owning whole apps or large parts of the frontend.
  • •Solid backend experience in a modern language (Python, Go, Java/Kotlin, .NET, Node/TypeScript, Ruby) with strong engineering judgment.
  • •Experience building and operating applications with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and production monitoring/on-call.
  • •Experience leading projects and mentoring other engineers, plus excellent communication in multicultural distributed teams.
