Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mature cloud cost optimization across GCP, AWS, and on-prem infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and financial predictability
  • •Analyze compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes usage to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising performance
  • •Build and maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and automated reporting for real-time visibility into cost drivers and trends
  • •Develop and implement tagging/labeling standards, budgeting processes, and governance policies to enable cross-organizational accountability
  • •Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Product to guide workload placement, architecture decisions, and scaling strategies

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles with a strong focus on cost optimization
  • •Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS; strong understanding of cloud pricing models, resource types, and cost management tooling
  • •Deep knowledge of Kubernetes resource allocation, autoscaling, workload placement, and cost attribution in distributed environments
  • •Proficiency with cloud cost tools (GCP Billing exports, BigQuery, AWS CUR, 3rd party cost monitoring tools such as Kubecost/CloudHealth, cost monitoring features in observability tools, custom dashboards)
  • •Strong analytical and data-engineering skills, able to build dashboards, SQL-based pipelines, and forecasting models
