Key Responsibilities

  • •Derive manufacturing test system architectural design for proof of principle, engineering phase, and high-volume production.
  • •Develop and review manufacturing test plans, test equipment specifications, and test limits/CTQs in collaboration with product design and internal/external teams.
  • •Lead supplier RFP reviews and optimize test solutions for durability, performance, and cost-effective instrument integration.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by streamlining test scripts, optimizing cycle time, and using CpK/SPC to improve manufacturing test limits.
  • •Oversee technical execution with urgent focus on test and measurement issues, including 8D/RCCA updates and remediation collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical electronics/mechatronics with 15+ years’ experience in manufacturing test & measurement solutions.
  • •Ability to conduct failure analysis using 8D and strong understanding of PCB manufacturing for lithium-ion battery pack assembly.
  • •Good knowledge of failure analysis and troubleshooting, including safety matters for lithium-ion battery pack assemblies.
  • •Enable statistical process control (SPC) on tester data analysis and create standard operation/maintenance plans for transitioning test equipment to sustaining teams.
  • •Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience developing automated manufacturing processes/equipment from prototype to high-volume production.
