Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop manufacturing process plans and should-cost models for machined, sheet metal, forged, and cast components using engineering drawings and specifications.
  • •Evaluate manufacturability, production methods, tooling, cycle times, and process selection to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability.
  • •Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including PFDs, PFMEAs, manufacturing routers, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • •Configure and maintain manufacturing data in SAP and MES (e.g., Solumina), including routers, work centers, and process parameters.
  • •Analyze supplier quotations and validate tooling and NRE costs while supporting sourcing/supplier development and NPI/DFM/DFC/value engineering initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
  • •Minimum 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Planning, or Should-Cost Analysis.
  • •Strong knowledge of machining, sheet metal, forging, casting, and mechanical/electromechanical assembly processes.
  • •Experience creating manufacturing process plans, manufacturing documentation, and should-cost models.
  • •Hands-on experience with SAP and MES (preferably Solumina), and manufacturing/should-costing tools such as aPriori.
