Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment including sound, lighting, projection, and recording systems.
  • •Set up, operate, and strike AV equipment for assemblies, productions, performances, concerts, examinations, and school events.
  • •Lead technical operations for theatre and performing arts productions, including programming/maintenance of theatrical lighting and sound systems.
  • •Provide AV support during events for staff, students, and external providers, including classroom/meeting room technology and recording/livestreaming needs.
  • •Ensure health and safety compliance by operating equipment safely, conducting inspections, reporting defects, and maintaining documentation and operating procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma, degree, or professional qualification in audio visual technology, sound engineering, technical theatre, event production, media technology, or a related field.
  • •3–5 years’ experience in an audio visual, technical theatre, production, events, or performing arts support role.
  • •Experience working with professional audio-visual, sound, and lighting equipment.
  • •Experience supporting live events, concerts, theatrical productions, and musical performances.
  • •Experience programming and operating stage lighting systems and troubleshooting/maintaining AV equipment.
