Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop cementing job design to meet customer requirements using calculations, computer simulations, and designed fluid systems, including requesting and reviewing lab tests.
  • •Perform risk assessments and verify the design meets regulatory requirements; provide cost estimates for planned operations.
  • •Provide operational expertise with instructions, determine required resources, and perform post-job analysis with recommendations and implementation of improvements.
  • •Develop customer relationships and collaborate with drilling/production engineers to tailor cementing solutions to customer needs and Halliburton commercial expectations.
  • •Provide well-site technical support, consult the PSL team on equipment needs/specifications, forecast chemical and casing equipment, and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math discipline.
  • •Minimum of 12 months experience learning cementing operations, job design, and technical solutions.
  • •Uses cementing knowledge to develop job designs meeting customer requirements, including calculations, simulations, and lab test review/approval.
  • •Verifies designs meet regulatory requirements and performs risk assessments.
  • •Provides technical support at the well site by validating job design using final input parameters and engineering tools.
