Job Summary

Assess patients’ physical problems and develop/review treatment programmes to improve movement, function, and overall health. Provide physiotherapy for neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions using manual therapy, movement, therapeutic exercise, and appropriate equipment such as ultrasound. Work within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team—recording case notes and statistics, supervising physiotherapy assistants/aides, educating patients and carers, and ensuring safe practice, documentation, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and review physiotherapy treatment programmes to address patients’ physical problems and improve movement and function.
•Assist with rehabilitation after accidents, injuries, strokes, and surgery-related joint and spinal problems.
•Supervise and instruct physiotherapy assistants/aides, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
•Write patient case notes and reports, collect patient statistics, and record/report adverse clinical events.
•Maintain a safe work environment, ensure equipment is maintained, and support quality management and continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements

•Graduate from an approved College or University in Physiotherapy.
•Current license in country of origin with DOH license to practice in Emirate of Alain, U.A.E.
•Minimum 2 years experience of practice in Physical Medicine.
•Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic advantageous/desirable.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a hospital setting.
