Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the alert triage queue during coverage hours and disposition alerts accurately and within SLA.
  • •Build investigation timelines from cloud, identity, and endpoint logs and interpret activity using MITRE ATT&CK.
  • •Escalate incidents with complete context, including severity reasoning, timeline, affected systems, and recommended next steps.
  • •Follow runbooks rigorously and propose runbook fixes when steps are wrong, incomplete, or outdated.
  • •Run a weekly feedback cycle with the SOC Engineer to report false positives and improve detection signal quality over time.

Key Requirements

  • •2–3 years as a SOC analyst or in a blue team / detection and response role.
  • •Hands-on alert triage experience with a SIEM and an EDR, including investigation, disposition, and escalation.
  • •Log analysis across cloud, identity, and endpoint sources to support investigations.
  • •Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and common attack patterns.
  • •Clear written incident notes and escalations in English (B2+).
