Job Summary

Manage and grow profitable commercial loan relationships within the Huntington Private Client Group, including renewals and loan recommendations. Underwrite and spread business and personal tax returns, administer the PFG loan portfolio, and monitor portfolio risk. Ensure compliance with credit policy by recognizing watch list items, non-accrual, and charge-offs. Partner with PFG relationship managers and support sales of PFG loan products for loans of moderate to high complexity.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify customer needs and develop loan recommendations, including cross-sales.
•Negotiate loan terms and approve/coordinating approval of loans.
•Monitor portfolio risk and research basic business issues.
•Administer the PFG loan portfolio, including financial statement follow-ups, exception handling, and loan reporting.
•Ensure portfolio compliance with credit policy, including timely recognition for watch list, non-accrual, and charge-offs.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience.
•Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience.
•Ability to spread and underwrite business and personal tax returns.
•Experience administering loan portfolios including follow-up on financial statements, exceptions, past due loans, changes in borrower financial condition, and loan reporting.
•Comfort working with loans of moderate to high complexity.
