Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safety of assigned project staff and operations while implementing the HSE Management System (HSEMS) throughout projects.
  • •Monitor compliance with company HSE policy through inspections, spot checks, and enforcement of zero-tolerance standards.
  • •Investigate HSE observations and incidents, identify immediate/basic causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
  • •Supervise subcontractors and site teams on safety issues; conduct incident/injury coordination and lead investigations through close-out.
  • •Plan and coordinate HSE training, emergency mock drills, and maintenance of HSE records, registers, and statistical reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Relevant HSE management qualification.
  • •NEBOSH / OSHA certification or membership.
  • •Dredging and marine HSE officer experience.
  • •Knowledge of ISM Code, mandatory rules and regulations, and applicable codes and standards.
