Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate complex loan requests to identify purpose, risk elements, and collateral adequacy.
  • •Analyze credit data, financial statements, and tax returns to determine creditworthiness and degree of risk.
  • •Apply accounting principles to financial modeling and assess risk using credit data and risk rating model output.
  • •Develop and document credit write-ups for delegated loan decisions or recommendations to credit partners/officers.
  • •Monitor and manage a portfolio of complex credits, initiate annual reviews, and identify deteriorating credits for timely escalation with restructure recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, economics and/or business (required).
  • •Minimum of 3 years of commercial/specialty underwriting, credit, banking, and/or financial services experience (required).
  • •Competent with Microsoft Office and able to learn and effectively utilize other technology applications (required).
  • •Strong understanding of financial models and the ability to assess complex commercial creditworthiness using research and analysis (required).
  • •Extensive experience with commercial credit underwriting/approval methodologies, credit policies and procedures, with strong risk management (required).
