Key Responsibilities

  • •Embed with engineering leads across business lines to learn builds, pain points, and platform forks.
  • •Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for supported compute platforms used across Anduril devices.
  • •Run continuous gap triage, ensuring each gap is resolved via build, assignment, decline, or defer.
  • •Define and drive delivery of the device baseline: OS and Jetpack, product-security components, resource-bounded Lattice service profiles, provisioning, and key management.
  • •Reclaim orphaned platform code by deprecating homegrown C++ primitives in favor of third-party libraries and standardizing shared-library linkage.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of proven experience building automated verification suites at scale.
  • •5+ years of experience working in NixOS environments, declarative package management, and virtualization environments.
  • •Shipped embedded or edge systems where OS, security posture, and application were all your responsibility.
  • •Deep experience with or a strong desire to dive into Nix and NixOS.
  • •Ability to advise product teams on what to do (or not do) and offer a path to achieve goals.
