Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare construction cost estimate reports at all stages of design for education, healthcare, residential, corporate occupier, and commercial projects.
  • •Own and present final cost plan/estimate by managing estimating and cost planning activities.
  • •Apply Value Management at the outset of a project and where appropriate; participate in Value Engineering.
  • •Ensure cost analysis, cost checking, and valuation work is managed effectively.
  • •Lead a cost management team and interface with the client and other consultants across all project stages.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years’ experience delivering pre-construction and post-contract construction cost services.
  • •Cost planning and estimating experience, including preparing construction cost estimate reports across design stages.
  • •A recognized University Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • •Membership in relevant professional organizations such as CIQS, RICS, and/or AACE.
  • •Knowledge and experience using CostX is an asset.
