Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Field Quality laboratory operations, including investigation priorities, staffing plans, and throughput expectations.
  • •Own standards for returned-part analysis, component teardown, failure reproduction, and validation testing methods.
  • •Manage the Field Quality vehicle fleet for issue reproduction, durability accumulation, corrective action validation, and risk identification.
  • •Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, service, and warranty teams to validate corrective actions and service procedures.
  • •Build, coach, and develop a team of laboratory engineers and technicians, including safe work practices and accountability culture.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in automotive quality, reliability, validation, testing, laboratory operations, or related technical disciplines.
  • •8+ years of leadership experience managing engineering, laboratory, validation, or technical investigation teams.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
  • •Experience leading structured root cause investigations, failure analysis, component teardown, failure reproduction, validation testing, and corrective action verification.
  • •Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform essential duties and follow safety procedures.
