Design and deliver enterprise-grade data migration solutions by translating complex Informatica PowerCenter workflows into Python extract/load pipelines, dbt transformations, and Airflow DAGs. Own functionally equivalent output at scale, including high-volume data movement and dbt model testing. Collaborate through GitLab CI/CD, perform peer reviews, troubleshoot SIT/UAT discrepancies, and create technical documentation, runbooks, and handover materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess complex Informatica workflows and translate sessions, mappings, and parameterizations into equivalent Python EL scripts and dbt transformation models.
•Develop and maintain Python EL pipelines for high-volume data loading into target warehouses using database connectivity and bulk export tools.
•Build dbt transformation models from Informatica mapping logic, applying best practices like macros, layering, incremental strategies, and snapshot patterns.
•Create dbt-native tests and Python unit tests to validate transformation correctness and data quality.
•Orchestrate Python EL and dbt end-to-end via Airflow DAGs, and troubleshoot performance and data discrepancies during SIT/UAT.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience with mappings, sessions, workflows, and parameterization.
•3+ years hands-on dbt Core experience, including model layering, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
•3+ years Airflow experience for DAG authoring, task dependencies, and scheduling integration.
•5+ years Python experience using parallelism and batch processing in production.
•5+ years SQL experience, including complex joins, window functions, and aggregations over large datasets.
