Support the digital transformation roadmap by deploying, optimizing, and providing day-to-day support for robotics and automation in manufacturing. Contribute to digital manufacturing solution development, including program and cycle-time optimization, plus simulation, testing, and validation for smooth deployment. Manage vendors/partners, develop simulation environments, support PoCs and continuous improvement, and collaborate with software teams to improve real-time machine connectivity. Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Conceptualize, design, prototype, and deploy robotics and automation solutions using digital manufacturing technologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.
•Manage external vendors and partners to source, develop, and fabricate automation solutions, ensuring integration with production machines and systems.
•Develop and maintain simulation environments to model shop floor scenarios for testing and validation.
•Participate in Proof of Concept (PoC) and continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
•Support additive manufacturing in the Fab Lab (3D printing/FDM and 3-axis CNC) and provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
•5-8 years relevant experience in highly automated manufacturing environments.
•Experience with AMRs and COBOTs, including integrating them into real-world production use cases.
•Experience with simulation platforms like RoboDK or Gazebo.
•Proficient in interpreting and creating CAD models (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks) and engineering schematics for design and integration activities.
