Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate as a team member in project development for energy-saving construction projects.
  • •Perform building surveys and audits to identify energy conservation measures across architectural, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
  • •Complete utility analysis by quantifying and benchmarking building energy use, including reviewing utility rate tariffs.
  • •Quantify energy savings for each conservation measure using building simulation/energy models or spreadsheet calculations.
  • •Oversee measurement and verification of ECMs and review building automation control systems to validate performance and recommend optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology discipline (entry level, degreed candidates encouraged).
  • •Familiarity with Energy Management Systems and/or Building Automation (BAS), HVAC systems, and/or temperature controls.
  • •Experience understanding and working with technical information and responding to questions from engineers.
  • •Experience collecting data, analyzing it, and presenting findings clearly and accurately.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and office equipment; must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months.
