Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support as a member of the Operations and Maintenance team at the site.
  • •Act as owner of the Safety aspects of the Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) and ensure inherent safety concepts remain supported through technology developments.
  • •Lead automation and control activities, including hands-on PLC configuration and documentation updates for AirPlant One.
  • •Troubleshoot developed control applications to align expected vs. actual responses and provide corrective configuration support.
  • •Serve as the OT interface to IT by translating plant control-system requirements into secure network and cybersecurity practices to protect uptime, safety, and data integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in process automation/PLC controls, with a degree in a related field or secondary education plus extensive field experience.
  • •Extensive experience in an operational environment with some project execution experience.
  • •Experience with OT (Operational Technologies) systems related to Rockwell, including PlantPAx and FactoryTalk, plus third-party interface communication protocols.
  • •Knowledge of IT/OT convergence: industrial Ethernet networking, VLANs/firewalls, network segmentation, IDMZ concepts, role-based access control, MFA, secure remote access, asset inventory, patch-management coordination, and incident-response coordination.
  • •Experience integrating vendor control packages into a plant control system; familiarity with field sensors and control elements is an asset.
