Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, NDR, and other security tools.
  • •Perform initial triage to classify alerts by severity, relevance, and impact, then escalate validated alerts via the escalation matrix.
  • •Document observations, actions, and evidence clearly in the ticketing system and participate in daily SOC handovers.
  • •Validate SIEM dashboards, correlation rules, and data source health at shift start.
  • •Conduct basic phishing and malware analysis and identify repetitive false positives to support tuning and SLA compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • •Proven work experience as a security engineer or information security analyst.
  • •Experience investigating and monitoring security events, including maintaining security systems.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, authentication systems, and log management.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
