Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Capital Investment Request (CIR) process by reviewing project submissions for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
  • •Monitor capital project spend against approved budgets, tracking phasing, funding status, and variances throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate capitalization of completed assets.
  • •Review goods receipt timing and accrual activity to ensure capital costs are recorded in the correct period.
  • •Execute and document internal controls related to assigned areas in alignment with SOX 404 requirements, and assist with capital-related materials for Finance Committee review.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • •1-3+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to capital project accounting, or manufacturing/plant environments preferred.
  • •CPA certification or active pursuit of a CPA license is a plus.
  • •Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP for capitalization and project cost accounting.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred, including SAP PS) and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) is a plus.
