Job Summary

Lead and scale merchant acquisition for multiple verticals (F&B, Hospitality, FMCG, FMCD, Healthcare, Wellness, Lifestyle) by building and guiding a team of KAEs. Drive onboarding, monetization, and account development to increase PhonePe’s offline market share. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement effective deployment, training, and revenue-generating strategies across key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

•Merchant Acquisition: Lead a team of KAEs to achieve merchant acquisition targets across varied categories; leverage understanding of Indian retail to onboard a broad spectrum of merchants with measurable progress through defined metrics.
•Account Management: Onboard merchants and build long-term relationships; enable deployments, training, and monetization strategies to grow market share and revenue.
•Map Competition: Monitor market activity in key accounts and formulate timely response strategies; share best practices to drive PhonePe growth.
•Team Management: Hire and train KAEs, ensure 100% staffing in clusters; monitor KPIs and coach team members; drive retention, engagement, and performance.
•Execution & Incentives: Maintain market presence to supervise BDEs/TLs; communicate monthly incentive schemes and drive results against targets.
