Job Summary

Lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data lineage and metadata platforms across cloud-native, distributed systems. Drive end-to-end delivery for lineage onboarding, metadata ingestion, APIs, and interoperability capabilities. Build backend services and reusable frameworks using Java, Python, SpringBoot, and GCP, leveraging event-driven architectures. Use GenAI and automation to improve metadata enrichment, lineage discovery, and operational efficiency while partnering with engineering, architecture, governance, risk, and product teams.

•Develop modern backend services and reusable frameworks using Java, Python, SpringBoot, GCP, and event-driven architectures.

•Partner with Architecture, Governance, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams; mentor engineers; and strengthen platform reliability, observability, scalability, and operational support.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise data platforms.
•Hands-on expertise in Java, Python, and SpringBoot; distributed systems and event-driven architectures; GCP services; and APIs/microservices for scalable backend development.
•Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, streaming pipelines, or real-time data processing.
•Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage/governance, and experience delivering scalable, secure, highly available systems.
