Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide behavioral healthcare management to Amae Health patients; monitor and manage care through multiple treatment modalities as patients progress through recovery
  • •Develop individualized treatment plans during engagement and stabilization phases addressing psychosocial and medical needs
  • •Provide continuous consultations in person and, when needed, virtually
  • •Liaise with patient care teams and collaborate with behavioral health providers for integrated care
  • •Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of health

Key Requirements

  • •Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with an active, unrestricted CA license and DEA
  • •Willingness to obtain Clozapine REMS certification and Medicaid enrollment if needed
  • •Prior experience with mental health and/or addiction issues; familiarity with Orange County systems
  • •Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
  • •Comfort working one-on-one or in group settings with strong coaching and negotiation skills
