Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide accounting support to the production facility, including cost accounting, inventory control, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and control report preparation.
  • •Supervise maintenance of manufacturing, inventory, and finished goods ledgers and cost accounting activities; ensure inventory is reconciled, valued, and compliant with corporate policy.
  • •Ensure compliance with SOX and annual internal auditing; oversee Internal Order (IO) administration and review general ledger accounts for consistency and accuracy.
  • •Administer bill of materials (BOM) audits/corrections and distribute material and labor variances to plant personnel; report variances and slow-moving inventory to corporate.
  • •Supervise payroll preparation and distribution, shipping documentation, and raw materials/supply/production inventory accounting; lead and develop the accounting team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 5+ years of professional accounting experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •2+ years of demonstrated experience managing/developing a team or leading projects.
  • •Knowledge of accounting and inventory/manufacturing software plus strong Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and analytical tools).
  • •Solid understanding of cost accounting concepts and strong mathematical/analytical abilities.
  • •SAP experience preferred; must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
