Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and maintain mechanical parts and systems, delivering updates and design improvements for current and next-generation models.
  • •Work cross-functionally to understand context, goals, and constraints, and provide feedback for future product development.
  • •Plan and lead cost savings projects.
  • •Generate concepts and solutions to improve product performance, quality, and process yields.
  • •Conduct environmental and mechanical testing with in-house test technicians and own sub-systems and key partnerships.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • •Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
  • •Mechanism design experience with strong understanding of material properties.
  • •Demonstrated FEA expertise and part/assembly design experience using 3D modeling (Solidworks).
  • •Experience with prototyping, testing/iteration, and working with contract manufacturers (ideally in Asia and/or Mexico).
