Job Summary

Ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and reliability of a facility’s mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage. Oversee operation and troubleshooting, lead preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with contractors and vendors. Maintain compliance with relevant codes and standards, review technical documentation for upgrades, and support commissioning and handover of new systems. Supervise junior staff and coordinate with other building teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise, operate, and maintain mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
•Monitor system performance for energy-efficient operation and respond to breakdowns with root cause analysis.
•Develop, implement, and track preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate corrective actions to avoid downtime.
•Ensure mechanical systems comply with relevant codes and standards and maintain O&M documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
•Support facility upgrade projects, equipment installations, retrofits, and participate in testing, commissioning, and handover.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•15 years of experience in mechanical systems, specifically in high-rise/commercial buildings.
•Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
•Familiarity with international standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, and SBC.
•Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and maintenance management software (CMMS).
