Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Garage’s books in QuickBooks Online, including accurate financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • •Lead GAAP accrual accounting across AP, AR, payroll coordination, vendor payments, expenses, sales commissions, and related workflows.
  • •Reconcile marketplace transactions, payments, settlements, and funds movement across internal systems and external partners.
  • •Build and improve accounting processes, close calendars, review routines, documentation, and controls that can scale with the business.
  • •Partner with the Finance Lead to provide clean, reliable accounting inputs for planning, reporting, and business decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of accounting experience, ideally including ownership of accounting operations in a lean or high-growth environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • •Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • •Strong knowledge of GAAP accrual accounting, including AP, AR, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement management.
  • •Excellent reconciliation skills across multiple bank accounts, payment flows, systems, and vendors.
