Key Responsibilities

  • •Underwrite and analyze new and renewal business within delegated authority levels.
  • •Apply underwriting elements for highest-complexity assignments, including exposure measurement, risk analysis, technical pricing, quoting, coverage setting, and negotiating terms.
  • •Maintain profitable multi-lines underwriting for Mid-market portfolios and provide training to other associates.
  • •Manage accounts by building broker and customer relationships to support acquisition and retention, including handling queries and advising on account development.
  • •Use Underwriting Scorecards and MI tools to proactively manage portfolios mix and performance, and manage pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree holder
  • •Over 2 years of working experience in General Insurance underwriting
  • •Strong multi-lines underwriting knowledge, mainly Property & Casualty
  • •Experience evaluating middle market exposures and analyzing unusual risks
  • •Fluency in English and Cantonese (Mandarin-speaking is an added advantage)
