Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers across a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments, working with customers and internal/external partners on both new installations and retrofits. Coordinate on-site work with team leaders and project managers, use hand tools and technical specifications to diagnose equipment, and uphold safety standards while managing company assets.

•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording their use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a hand held computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (includes examples like DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as business requires.
