Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, coordinate, and implement new products and services for Eaton Electrical aligned to market requirements.
  • •Develop and modify Vacuum Interrupters to meet local Chinese requirements and project design objectives.
  • •Ensure assigned project phases complete within budgeted time and cost constraints, meeting standards, codes, reliability, cost, and quality targets.
  • •Benchmark competitive products and technologies and collaborate with other Eaton design groups on joint projects.
  • •Coordinate handover to regular production (pre-production runs, handbooks, work instructions), work with Supply Chain to localize parts/subassemblies, build prototypes, and perform testing and result interpretation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor or MSc in engineering, with Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
  • •At least 8 years of experience in the VI (Vacuum Interrupter) field.
  • •English CET-4 with oral and written proficiency.
  • •Proficiency with 2D & 3D design software.
  • •FEM knowledge plus understanding of tolerance chains and manufacturing methods.
