Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in onboarding, training, and oversight for the Venue Sustainability crew.
  • •Ensure zero-waste operational procedures are in place during pre-season venue set up as requested by the manager.
  • •Assist with mid- and post-show sorting of recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
  • •Supervise sorting operations on show and non-show days (weekdays and weekends) to maximize resource recovery and diversion.
  • •Support front- and back-of-house zero-waste initiatives, maintain the sorting area, and step in to oversee processes when the manager is unavailable.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20 - 25 hourly

  • •Ability to spend most show time walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., with significant time sorting materials.
  • •Not afraid to get dirty or work around unpleasant odors.
  • •Ability to work outside in variable weather.
  • •Strong time management skills to show up on time and work late hours.
  • •Dedication and teamwork skills to execute zero-waste programs; experience in events/zero-waste events is a plus.
