Key Responsibilities

•Lead and own the tax agenda for international decisions across Allianz entities and ensure tax considerations are embedded in strategic decision-making.
•Drive tax structuring, coordination, and execution for acquisitions, divestments, and restructurings in complex international environments, aligned with Group tax strategy and governance standards.
•Take end-to-end ownership of tax workstreams in transactions, collaborating with local tax functions, asset managers, and external advisors.
•Design, drive, and implement tax planning and restructuring initiatives to optimize effective tax rate and cash tax outcomes, including impacts on Global Minimum taxation.
•Own identification, assessment, and mitigation of tax risks for cross-border matters and support tax audits and controversy management.
