Key Responsibilities

  • •Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment according to job specifications.
  • •Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions and plans installation sequence accordingly.
  • •Cuts pipe using various tools and techniques; threads pipe and bends as required.
  • •Mounts pipe hangers and brackets to hold pipe; assembles and installs pipe fittings using appropriate joints.
  • •Tests piping systems for leaks and ensures secure installation; coordinates material transport and supports.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and have the strength and stamina to perform technical duties.
  • •Ability to move in and around confined and uneven areas and maintain full range of motion.
  • •Must be able to hear and respond to voice commands and job-related noises; adhere to safety alerts and hazards.
  • •Proficient with pipe fitting tasks including selecting type and size of pipe, cutting, threading and joining joints.
  • •U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required.
