Job Summary

Join the data infrastructure SRE team to help design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems. You’ll participate across the service lifecycle—from design and deployment to monitoring, incident response, and blameless postmortems. Work on cloud-managed data infrastructure using Kubernetes and other technologies, and develop automation and monitoring frameworks to improve reliability, efficiency, and velocity during a 12-week internship.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in the complete service lifecycle from design and development through deployment, operation, and refinement.
•Design and implement software platforms and monitoring frameworks for service-oriented architecture (SOA).
•Develop and manage components of cloud-managed data infrastructure using technologies such as Kubernetes, Redis, MySQL, and Flink.
•Create sustainable automation mechanisms to scale systems and improve reliability, efficiency, and velocity.
•Support users, manage incident responses, and run blameless postmortems to improve systems.

Key Requirements

•Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (with 2+ years of experience) or a Master’s degree.
•Experience programming in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, or Rust.
•Knowledge of Unix/Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems.
•Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026.
•Preferred: experience with MySQL, Redis, Nginx, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Hadoop, Spark, Flink, and more.
