Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal and strategic advice to ADGM and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations to minimize risk and support executive decision-making.
  • •Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks in contractual and other arrangements; draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • •Participate in and manage contractual negotiations and assist in execution of transactions.
  • •Develop and update standard terms and templates; support claim management and timely resolution of potential disputes.
  • •Support litigation or alternative dispute resolution and instruct/manage external counsel; report to the CLO on material strategic issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree from an internationally accredited university or equivalent.
  • •Admission to the bar/practice of law in a recognised international jurisdiction (preference for common law qualification).
  • •Minimum 8–10 years’ post-qualification experience in an internationally recognised law firm or in-house legal function in a UAE or multi-national company.
  • •Relevant experience in general corporate/commercial practice areas.
  • •Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with fluent English; Arabic desirable.
