Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess the management, operational, and technical security controls to determine overall effectiveness for an information system.
  • •Identify severity of weaknesses or deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to address vulnerabilities.
  • •Perform RMF-based assessments and evaluate authorization packages to recommend authorization decisions to the AO/DAO.
  • •Prepare and document Security Assessment Reports (SAR) and initiate POA&M for identified weaknesses.
  • •Evaluate continuous monitoring plans, proposed authorization boundary changes, and support compliance inspections and security incident response.

Key Requirements

  • •Top Secret/SCI clearance must currently be possessed; must be willing to submit to a CI polygraph.
  • •9+ years related experience, or 5+ years plus a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combinations including Associate’s plus experience.
  • •Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SAP, SCI, or Collateral Information Systems (IS) security and implementing related regulations.
  • •IAT Level 3 or IAM Level 1 certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • •Prior performance in roles of ISSO and ISSM; must regularly lift 50 lbs.
