Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide onsite maintenance capabilities, including component triage and testing; determine faulty conditions and repair/replace/upgrade as needed.
  • •Interface with customers (internal and external) and apply broad systems understanding.
  • •Execute program milestones to manage the critical path and key dependencies for successful outcomes.
  • •Review execution plans and schedules with the project management and Service Engineering team lead to ensure adequacy, completeness, and alignment.
  • •Advise the customer on the physical installation of multiple types of avionics equipment across ground, airborne, and shipboard platforms; attend meetings/events and document discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Active DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start, and U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for the clearance.
  • •Experience with computer hardware/software and networking, including Linux RHEL (or similar) and Linux administration.
  • •Experience with Python programming and Wireshark (understanding the tool).
  • •Experience in avionics, integration, post-installation testing, and certification activities, plus training customers and system users; must hold a valid driver’s license.
