Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Circle’s public policy, regulatory strategy, and market positioning across Latin America.
  • •Develop regulatory engagement strategy, including stakeholder mapping and market segmentation aligned to company expansion plans.
  • •Review evolving regulatory requirements with legal, compliance, and operational leaders, supporting filings and successful licensure.
  • •Draft regulatory consultation responses (e.g., requests for information, comments) and build coalitions with stakeholders to advance the regulatory agenda.
  • •Track global policy, regulatory, and market acceptance of digital currencies and blockchain-based payments to inform company-wide expansion and competitive positioning.

Key Requirements

  • •14+ years of legal, policy, regulatory, and policymaking experience across emerging technology, financial services, and global markets.
  • •8+ years of experience managing and leading teams.
  • •Proven experience leading regulatory engagement in payments and financial services domains.
  • •In-depth knowledge of LatAm policy, regulatory, legal, and licensing requirements for payments, digital currencies, crypto-assets, and blockchain-based markets.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
