Job Summary

Design, commission, and continuously improve control systems for automated equipment used to produce Solid Rocket Motors at a high-rate manufacturing plant. Write and debug Siemens PLC code (Ladder/Structured Text), integrate FactoryOS software, and establish safety and compliance standards. Lead root-cause analysis for automation failures to improve reliability, and install, configure, and tune servo drives/VFDs while partnering cross-functionally to reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement.

•Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
•8+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
•Strong Siemens PLC programming in Ladder and Structured Text.
•Proficient installing/configuring servo drives and VFDs, including PID tuning and safety functions (e.g., STO/SS).
•Strong knowledge of Ethernet-based industrial communication (ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, Ethernet IP) and experience integrating with SCADA/OT networking.
