Job Summary

Serve as a technical leader and test engineer on medium-to-large teams building Command and Control (C2) software. Own full life-cycle systems engineering and verification/validation activities—requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, formal testing, and software installation. Act as a systems engineering subject matter expert while mentoring engineers, and develop advancements for multi-sensor information fusion, networked situational awareness, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as technical leader and test engineer on medium-to-large engineering development teams to create Command and Control (C2) software products.
•Perform full life cycle systems engineering including requirements analysis, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification & validation (V&V), formal testing, and software installation.
•Act as a department systems engineering subject matter expert and solve critical technical problems with innovative solutions while mentoring other engineers.
•Design, develop, and test advancements in multi-sensor and information fusion, networked situational awareness, and visualization technologies.

Key Requirements

•Experience as lead systems or test engineer on a software development program.
•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
•Experience with systems such as Link 16 Tactical Data Link, Command and Control (C2), Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems, Combat/Fire Control, or Shipboard Combat Systems.
•Experience with Systems of Systems software integration and test across operating environments such as Linux, Windows, Virtual Machines, and Containers.
