Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive full-chip and block-level layout design and technical decisions across analog, digital, memory, ESD, and full-chip EM/IR.
  • •Establish layout guidelines, standards, and best practices; ensure successful execution of full-chip layouts.
  • •Perform layout verification and quality checks (e.g., LVS/DRC/Antenna) and maintain documentation.
  • •Lead planning and execution across multiple projects and milestones, including area/time estimation and delegation.
  • •Collaborate with Design, Verification, CAD, DTCO, PI, and cross-functional teams; guide junior engineers and contribute to methodologies/automation improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in analog/custom layout design in advanced CMOS processes.
  • •Expertise with Cadence VLE/VXL and Calibre DRC/LVS (must-have).
  • •Hands-on experience with critical analog layout blocks (e.g., PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, bandgap, reference generators, charge pump, current mirrors, comparator, differential amplifier).
  • •Solid understanding of analog layout fundamentals and verification, including matching and physical effects (e.g., electro-migration, latch-up, IR-drop, parasitics).
  • •Ability to lead multiple projects and tape-out; experience with scripting/automation and strong communication skills.
