Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, program, and execute inspection routines for CMMs, portable arms, and laser trackers using PC-DMIS, Polyworks, and Spatial Analyzer.
  • •Analyze inspection data to perform root cause analysis, support SPC initiatives, and conduct capability studies.
  • •Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to provide DFM/DFI feedback on new products.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models to create inspection plans validating GD&T requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or metrology engineering role.
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering field (or equivalent experience).
  • •Strong proficiency interpreting and applying GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • •Hands-on experience with at least one major metrology software platform (PC-DMIS, Polyworks, or Spatial Analyzer).
  • •Experience working in a manufacturing environment governed by a formal Quality Management System (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
