Key Responsibilities

•Own the financial reporting of your entities, including monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, variance analysis, commentary and audit readiness.
•Define dashboards and specifications to drive automation, building the financial controlling function for international entities as Alan expands.
•Structure and manage relationships with local accounting firms, monitoring their output and ensuring consistency with central reporting scope.
•Challenge, improve and automate financial processes, drafting specifications for the Financial Data team and identifying improvements in the monthly reporting cycle.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is well understood and used for decisions, and contribute to scaling the team through hiring and onboarding.

Key Requirements

•Financial expertise: At least 5 years of experience in accounting across multiple entities or geographies, coordinating external accounting firms and overseeing multi-country financial reporting.
•Languages: Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong plus.
•Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly to non-finance stakeholders; basic SQL or AI tools knowledge is a bonus.
•Soft skills: Rigorous, autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented; strong communicator with internal teams and external partners; able to work independently and make clear decisions in ambiguity.
•Familiarity with insurance accounting or regulated financial entities is a strong plus.
