Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate fiduciary services for a portfolio of personal trust accounts (mostly trusts, plus some agency, IRA, and custody accounts).
  • •Review and support discretionary action requests for irrevocable trusts, including distributions, according to trust documents and bank policy.
  • •Administer multigenerational trusts and execute estate-plan documents where the bank serves as trustee/executor/personal representative/guardian/agent.
  • •Complete annual account reviews and compliance responsibilities for complex accounts, including documentation, fees, statements, asset transfers, and internet set-up accuracy.
  • •Retain and grow assigned client relationships by partnering with the client service team and collaborating with external centers of influence for potential referrals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience required.
  • •8+ years of experience in financial services, including at least 3 years of trust (fiduciary) or IRA experience.
  • •Knowledge of trust administration, estate planning strategies, and income, gift and estate tax matters.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of fiduciary law and estate planning, or IRA regulations, plus understanding of bank policies and procedures.
  • •Effective client relationship, time management, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving/analytical skills in a fast-paced team environment.
