Key Responsibilities

  • •Segregate parts (aluminum, steel, titanium, stainless steel, magnesium) and position them in baskets without damage.
  • •Lift and place baskets under hoists into the appropriate cleaning tanks by part type, then remove them at the end of each cleaning cycle.
  • •Wash parts in the cleaning booth with varsol using a brush or spray gun.
  • •Dip steel parts in inhibiting oil and prepare them for engine part trucks; add chemicals to solutions as instructed.
  • •Clean tanks, spray booths, trucks, baskets, and engine part racks, and perform other tasks such as sandblasting, deburring, and polishing as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Ability to prioritize safety and compliance to meet FAA-regulated facility standards.
  • •Ability to adjust and manage priorities with good time management skills.
  • •Ability to work independently and adhere to EH&S policies, including wearing proper PPE.
  • •Ability to segregate and handle parts safely for cleaning and handoff to the NDT team.
