Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain expert product knowledge and communicate technology/product positioning to business and technical users.
  • •Support design and specification development for resellers, integrators, and distributors.
  • •Assist with customer presentations and/or technical demonstrations, and respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • •Configure, test, and troubleshoot network switches, AV, KVM, and system components to resolve network performance issues.
  • •Travel to project sites to support deployment, set-up, commissioning, training, and advanced/escalated product support.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or computer science (or significant industry experience as a substitute).
  • •Minimum of 5 years of data networking experience in field service, data center, or related IT technician environments.
  • •Experience and/or certifications in computer networking, signal switching, and programming/coding for control and visualization technologies.
  • •Strong understanding of Ethernet protocol/switching/packet processing and network architecture topologies.
  • •Ability to read blueprints and architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.
