Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies; manage vendor prequalification, proposal/bid assessment and bid leveling, and recommend outcomes.
  • •Develop and review project estimates; present estimates, value engineering recommendations, and risk assessments; benchmark using data from other projects.
  • •Establish reporting schedules and manage cost reporting/forecasting; maintain a commercial risk register and run periodic meetings with project team and vendors.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment application assessments, recommending contractor entitlements, handling change order requests, and supporting dispute prevention/resolution.
  • •Manage invoicing, final accounting processes, post-contract audits and account close-outs; lead post-contract reviews and develop handover procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field.
  • •3-5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it (valuable).
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects, preferably commercial office, high-rise, mixed-use, headquarters, or major urban development.
  • •Strong communication skills and good knowledge of construction industry technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
