Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead early-stage design reviews and DFX/DFM optimization to improve manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and assembly feasibility.
  • •Own unified NPI & Quality process management, including CPM (e.g., poka yoke, torque control, EOL), plus development of flow charts, PFMEA, and SOPs.
  • •Manage production duplication strategy: production line setup, test & traceability validation, equipment and jig qualification, and golden sample approval across multiple sites.
  • •Lead rigorous failure analysis and root cause assessments in the PDP to resolve ME/EE technical issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • •Oversee aluminum process qualification for structural components and run PPAP/PSW sign-off plus EVT/DVT builds and MP ramp-up; coordinate firmware flashing/verification on the production line.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or higher in Engineering or Science.
  • •7+ years of NPI engineering experience with deep expertise in FATP environments and aluminum product industrialization (welding, heat treatment, die/LPD/squeeze-castings).
  • •Ability to influence design decisions early, identifying structural or process constraints and proposing advanced manufacturing solutions.
  • •Hands-on experience with production line setup and multi-site production duplication, plus robust process development.
  • •Strong working knowledge of NPI milestones (EVT/DVT/MP) and quality/project tools (PPAP, FAI, Cpk, SPC, 8D).
