Key Responsibilities

  • •Create PCB layouts from electrical schematics using industry-standard CAD tools and support schematic-to-layout-to-manufacturing workflow.
  • •Develop multi-layer board designs and optimize component placement for thermal management, signal integrity, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • •Route high-speed differential pairs and controlled-impedance traces, and perform DRC and ERC checks to ensure design integrity.
  • •Vet and maintain PCB component libraries by ensuring symbols, footprints, and 3D models match datasheet specifications and company templates.
  • •Generate fabrication/assembly drawings and BOMs, maintain revision control, and ensure compliance with IPC, UL, and FCC standards.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in PCB layout design and electrical engineering principles.
  • •Proficiency with PCB design CAD tools such as Altium Designer (preferred), KiCad, or Eagle.
  • •Understanding of signal integrity fundamentals, including EMI/EMC considerations and thermal management.
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing processes for surface mount and through-hole assembly, plus DFM principles.
  • •Good communication skills and problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and support cross-functional collaboration.
