Job Summary

Serve as an EHS partner to operations by analyzing manufacturing processes to eliminate hazards and improve continuous environmental, health, and safety performance. Coach management and employees on safe behaviors, investigate incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions through the Incident Management System (IMS). Coordinate EHS programs, deliver training and onboarding, conduct compliance-focused assessments, and provide technical guidance on environmental policies and regulations in support of daily safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide on-the-floor coaching to management, supervisors, and employees to observe, understand, and correct unsafe behaviors and conditions.
•Investigate incidents and establish corrective and preventative action plans to eliminate hazards and mitigate risk within the Incident Management System (IMS).
•Coordinate with the Area EHS Manager to keep Environmental, Health and Safety programs updated and track implementation in the management system.
•Deliver health and safety training, including new hire onboarding training with classroom training and in-field competency testing.
•Conduct periodic operational assessments for safety compliance, document findings, set timelines with local management, and track action items to completion.

Key Requirements

•2+ years in EHS and/or manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
•Excellent communication skills across functional departments to support integration.
•Extensive knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and environmental regulations.
•Ability to work with administrative, production, and technical personnel to achieve plant and corporate goals.
•Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to research regulatory and industry web content.
